The Message, 2018

Your positioning within society is guided by your needs and abilities. Communication helped our civilization to progress forward and it is an integral part of our society. My image displays cave wall drawings of a hunting tribe. They communicate through recognizable online communication channels such as Facebook Messenger. Mixing these two worlds will make anyone think about where we are in our evolutionary journey. Maybe we are just as primitive with better communication technologies. Time will tell.

The image was created using a gluey base on a wooden board and the drawings were made with pencil and acrylic.
